All games and training sessions will take place indoors, providing a consistent soccer experience throughout the winter months. Schedules, session times, and formats are subject to adjustment based on registrations, facility availability, and league requirements.

Your league registration fee directly covers the operational costs of providing an organized, safe, and enjoyable recreational soccer experience:
Official MLS GO Experience
A recreational league powered directly by Major League Soccer.

Age Groups & Playing Formats
Developmentally tailored soccer experiences ensuring touches, participation, and joy at every age.
U6 Division
Format: 3v3 or 4v4
- Saturday sessions in one convenient weekly block
- ~30 mins of fun, age-appropriate practice activities
- ~30 mins of small-sided games
- Emphasis on movement, coordination, confidence & touches
U7–U8 Division
Format: 5v5 (w/ Goalkeepers where appropriate)
- Saturday sessions (practice + game combo)
- ~30 mins of structured developmental practice
- ~30 mins of small-sided games
- Introduction to teamwork, passing, dribbling & shooting
U9–U12 Division
Format: 7v7 (including Goalkeepers)
- One weekday team practice (~45–60 mins)
- One scheduled Saturday game
- Age-appropriate technical & tactical progression
- Emphasis on spatial awareness, decision-making & teamwork

Team Formation & Player Placement
Every registered player will be placed on a team for the Winter 2027 season.
Register as an Individual
Players who register individually will be assigned to an age-appropriate team by league administration. When forming teams, we consider:
- Player age and school grade
- School attended & geographic location
- Existing friendships & special requests
- Available team spaces and roster balance
Register With an Existing Team
Players may also register as part of an existing group or team.
- Indicate your coach's name & team information during signup
- League administrators will group friends together
- Each player may only be rostered on one team per season
- Final team rosters & schedules shared before opening day

Our recreational league depends on enthusiastic coaches who want to make a positive difference in children's lives. No previous coaching experience is necessary! Team coaches include parent volunteers, community members, and qualified soccer coaches who share our commitment to positive youth sports.

*All coaches must complete required background screening & SafeSport training.
As a thank-you for supporting our players and families, one designated coach per team will be eligible for a 30% discount on their child's league registration fee.
Provided as a reimbursement at the end of the season following completion of agreed responsibilities and safeguarding requirements. Applies to one player per eligible coach.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
Participants may request a refund before the beginning of the season. Refund requests received after the season begins may be denied. All refunds, partial refunds, or adjustments to league registration fees will be determined on a case-by-case basis by Nordic Soccer Recreational League administration.
Administrative or processing fees may apply. Any uniform items already ordered or shipped may be nonrefundable, subject to applicable consumer protection requirements. Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval. To request a refund, please contact the league administration via email.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child need previous soccer experience?
Not at all! Our league welcomes children of all experience and ability levels, from complete beginners to those who have played before.
Can my child register with friends?
Yes. Families may submit friend or team placement requests during registration. We will do our best to accommodate requests where possible.
Do I need to register an entire team?
No. Individual registrations are welcome, and every registered player will be assigned to a team.
When are practices and games?
Games will take place on Saturdays. Younger age groups will generally participate in combined practice-and-game sessions. Older age groups will have a weekday practice and a Saturday game.
Where will the program take place?
All scheduled activities will take place at the Nordic Soccer Indoor Center on artificial turf.
Do players receive an official uniform?
Yes. Players will receive an official MLS GO uniform package, including a reversible jersey, shorts, and socks.
Can parents volunteer to coach?
Absolutely! We welcome parent volunteers. No previous coaching experience is necessary, and training, practice plans, and support will be provided.
Is the league competitive?
Our priority is player development, participation, and enjoyment. We want every child to feel welcome, develop confidence, and experience the excitement of soccer.
