- Minimum 6 games guaranteed
- No league play over Thanksgiving or Christmas/New Year holidays
- Registration Deadline: Wednesday, October 28th
NISC Fast5 Session 2
January 15 – February 21, 2027
- Minimum 6 games guaranteed
- Schedule accounts for major holidays like Super Bowl weekend
- Submit up to two scheduling conflicts during registration

The Fast5 Experience & Innovative Rules

Nordic FAST5 is an innovative player development league designed around 5v5 action (4 field players + Goalkeeper) on world-class FIFA Graded indoor turf. Format built to develop individual tactics that transfer directly to 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 soccer in the Spring.
Match Structure
2 × 20-minute halves (running clock), 3-minute halftime, and unlimited rolling substitutions.
Quick Restarts (4s)
Kick-ins or dribble-ins instead of throw-ins. 4-second restarts keep the game moving continuously.
Powerplay
Goals scored during the final two minutes of each half count double, creating high-stakes drama.
Challenge Rule
Adapted mercy rule: when a scoreline reaches a four-goal difference, the trailing team can add an extra player.
No Offsides or Punts
No offsides and no goalkeeper punts or drop-kicks, encouraging build-up and fluid play.
One Venue Convenience
All games played at Champlain Valley Exposition (The Expo) in Essex Junction, VT. No driving between venues!
